" very glad to hear this, thank you.

You're welcome.

" i just have to find a lector, to proofread it... :)

I might be able to do some of this if you would like.

" i alredy added three more tablix parameters to the tablix tab... if
" you really think i should add an actuall entry for commandline, i can
" do it, it will just be harder to do it in a way, to efficiently trap
" badly formed commandline...

I would like to see an actual entry for the command line, yes, but
why check it at all, at least in a first implementation? Wouldn't
it be easy and sufficient just to trap and display any error
generated by tablix? Anyone (including me:) using the sort of
feature which gives access to raw operations should be prepared to
live with the consequences, don't you think? In some situations
like this, I have seen a button or check box on the relevant tab
which exposed features not shown by default. Btw, I liked your
comments about the kind of program you would like to see gtablix
become.

" well, the nifty gtk2 filechoosedialog has that feature built in. just
" click the 'add' button in it, and the current folder will be saved in
" the bookmarks list on the left... if that's whhat you wanted?

That is so cool :). I hadn't noticed that. Thanks.

I'd also like to specify such things as where to put the temp files.

" well, to be exact, tablix (and gtablix also) can output both ways.
" jsut select different type of output in the results tab... i should
" add this to the actual preview in gtablix, but the html can alreddy
" be gnereated like this.

Well, I'm blind. I just ran sample.xml again and the output is the
way I like it, daylabels as column headers. (Of course I can't
print it because firefox, which will print from a popup window,
won't print from the main window.:<) I swear it used to do it the
other way. And I can't figure out where to switch it back and
forth. Do you have a clue I can borrow:-?
