The problem with clusterconf is that it thinks that your are running it
from a bootable CD and that you don't care what happens to system
configuration files in /etc (because changes will be lost when you
reboot anyway).

This means that it overwrites various files (/etc/resolv.conf,
/etc/dhcpd.conf, etc.) without warning. It also probably works only on
Debian based systems and it expects that only user "morph" (which is the
default user name on Morphix) will use the cluster.

It is also a nightmare from a security point of view it (it uses a known
private key for .ssh authentication).

I agree that a better written clusterconf would be great. However I
probably won't have time for it in the near future (at least not until
Tablix 0.2.0 is stable and usable). If anyone is interested in such a
project, clusterconf source is available from the CVS.
